Visa for Russia
A visa is required for all passengers on the tours to Russia. Each passenger must apply for the visa in his/her country of domicile. The visa application must be accompanied by confirmation documents provided by Finland Travel Bureau. To obtain the necessary visa support letter, we need the personal data of each passenger at the time of booking (i.e. surname, first names, date of birth, gender, nationality and passport number). There is a handling fee for the support letter, which is charged per party travelling together.

Hotel Astoria – Superior Rooms
With twin or Queen size beds all 61 Superior Deluxe rooms look onto St Isaac's Square and Cathedral. You enter the bedroom through a lobby area. These comfortable rooms are tastefully designed and feature parquet flooring, Russian linen and fabrics.
An armchair and cocktail table by the window offers an ideal place to relax and read. The writing desk has computer and modem sockets within easy access.
Each room is air-conditioned and has an interactive satellite television, personal electronic safe, refreshment centre, and hairdryer. Telephones are located beside the bed, on the desk and in the bathroom. All phones are connected to a voicemail system, high speed internet connection.
The white marble bathrooms have hand and power showers, and are supplied with luxurious Italian toiletries, fluffy robes toweling and slippers.
Grand Hotel Europe– Belle Chambre Rooms
The hotel’s 21 Belle Chambres retain the generous space and classical style of the nineteenth century. While these rooms vary in size and layout, they are on average about twice the size of the Classic Rooms.
The rooms have parquet floors, spacious seating areas with armchairs and a sofa and large windows facing onto historic Nevsky Prospect - all of which contribute to their extraordinarily light and airy ambience. The Belle Chambres are furnished with antique and period reproduction pieces. The rooms range in size from 31 to 45 square meters. 15 of the rooms are equipped with twin beds, 3 with double beds, and 3 with Grand Lits.
Day 1: City of the Czars

On arrival in St. Petersburg, a local guide will accompany your transfer by private car to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to explore this exciting city on your own. Former czarist palaces, extravagant mansions, and richly decorated churches create an imperial ambience all around the city, which used to be the home of the Russian czars for two hundred years. Overnight at Hotel Moskva or at Hotel Angleterre.
Day 1: City of the Czars

Enjoy breakfast on the train. On arrival in St. Petersburg, a local guide will accompany your transfer by private car to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to explore this exciting city on your own. Day 2: Guided City Tour

Breakfast at the hotel. The guided sightseeing tour covers the most essential sights of this magnificent Russian city, such as the Peter-and-Paul Fortress, the city’s landmark monument; the brilliant St. Isaac’s Cathedral (inside visit), decorated with more than 500 paintings, sculptures and mosaics by Russian masters; and the onion-domed Church of the Bleeding Saviour.
After the morning tour you will visit the Hermitage Art Museum. Overnight at at chosen hotel..
Day 3: Guided Excursion

Breakfast at the hotel. Today we have a full day tour to the surroundings of St.Petersburg to visit the cities of Pushkino with Catherine’s Palace and Park and Pavlovsk with Paul’s Palace. Overnight at at chosen hotel.
Day 4: Return to Helsinki
(B, private car, train)
After breakfast at the hotel you will have a tour to visit the Yusupov Palace with the Rasputin Chamber. In the afternoon you have the opportunity to do some last minute shopping before the transfer by private car to the railway station and return to Helsinki with arrival late in the evening.
